Senior ColdFusion Developer Job Description:
Teksystems is searching for two Senior ColdFusion Developers for a six month contract and a permanent position, with one of our clients.
The Sr. Level Coldfusion Developer will work in Revenue Systems (transaction processing). The position involves 90-95% Coldfusion development on complex web applications that are heavy in transactions. Database knowledge is not critical as you will be partnering with a database developer. The position also requires design of web pages and attending meetings to gain end user input. The application reaches 600-700 users located in 4 locations (Brentwood TN, Berwyn PA, Tacoma WA, Irvine CA). The projects will be time sensitive with high visibility. 10 of 20 modules have been built; therefore, there is a lot of new development as well as enhancements. This will also involve enhancements to three existing applications and an upgrade from CF 5/6 to MX7.
Requirements: Candidates MUST have 5+ years experience with ColdFusion, with at least 2 years with ColdFusion MX 7. Experience with JavaScript and AJAX is required. It is necessary that candidates have done new development and not just maintenance in the past.
Pluses: Experience with Flash and Flex is desirable. Experience with Oracle database development would be helpful. Experience within Health Care Transaction processing, Claims processing, Collections, Patient Accounting or Accounts Receivable is a plus. This is on-line processing and not batch. All of the above is a plus and not a must.
This is a great client to work for. They offer excellent benefits and 401k. The office has a .com type of feel and is very modern. This is a growing company that offers the chance to work on career-building projects.
Please email resumes directly to eeverett@teksystems.com. No Third Party Candidates.

Ok, I admit it I regulary steal music

not in the form of mp3's or wav's. but in the the form of my brains collections of nerves. whats worse, I regular reproduce it without consent from the publisher. the quality is not quite as good as the original but it'll do. whats worse I also enable others to save local copy of it in their own brains so they can later reproduce it at their own whim. I personally think we need to install DRM into the human mind. Oh wait my bad Uncle Sam has been working on that forever.
