0x24 and tale of two drivers

My home desktop system is an A8n32-Deluxe SLI X16 running 2.2GHZ Dual Athalons. I recently had to reinstall the OS and used nvidias most recent nforce4 driver set version 15.23 I slipstram my install cds because who really uses floppy anymore these days. So I slipstreamed the 15.23 drivers not soon after my install I started recieving blue screens of death (read BSOD) with an error code of 0x24. After some long and arduous searching and verifying that my raid array was indeed fine along with each drive, I rolled back the current driver set and used version 6.86 and it resolved all of my issues with XP Professional (SP3) and the dreaed bluescreen.
