When I was in high school their where so many kids wanting to draw comic books, fantasy novel covers and sci-fi art. A lot of them were very good. But now as digital roar is looking for some prepro artists , they can't be found. We are a startup and our budget precludes A-list artists. We can't even find the B-list out there. Its like everyone has switched over to 3D for better or for worse. Get this its a paying Gig, not a lot , but more then minimum wage. Its not even a huge project.

www.deviantart.com - you will need to wade through a lot of crap, but there are some great artists in there.

the problem with deviant art your not guaranteed that its original artwork and there no guarantee any given artist you email will a) respond and b) willing to work. time value of money and all it makes more sense for me to work my contacts for names then randomly going through deviantart. great site however.

Check out my work and see if its what you're looking for. I've done a couple of my own horror comic books.
